Patti Nakonechny-Aubry


CrossFit Level 1 Trainer

Patti has been a long-time recreational ‘athlete’ for many years, started in swimming and turned to long-distance running, completing races from 5K to half-marathons. In 2014 she was introduced to CrossFit and was completely hooked, 10 years later she completed her L1 training to help others in the community.

She loves that CrossFit is a place where people of all fitness levels and all ages can come together to get fitter, stronger and happier. Aging well and staying fit and strong is a choice. Growing up in the ‘80’s it was always expected that women should be small and thin. “Don’t lift heavy weights because you will get too bulky” and “as you get older you will slow down and won’t be able to do things like you could before”…she thinks that these old beliefs should be challenged – lifting weights, staying fit, and eating healthy are important for everyone at any age.

The community at RX Gym is the key to success and she loves seeing and helping members achieve their goals, inside and outside the gym.
